Moved to LA after U of A. Worked for a geological company that built missile silos. Then worked in hydrogeology. Then started a joint venture with a Japanese company in Osaka. Then, started buying and remodeling homes and re-selling them. Made tons of money and started flying helicopters. I also started a company in Sahagun, Hidalgo, Mexico making products for Amerock Hardware. I started a wine distribution business at the same time. Lost all my dough in a divorce and the Depression of 2007. Then married a psychiatrist who turned out to be very addicted to anti-depressents and she was a nutcase (lol) and we moved to Santa Fe, NM. I moved back to CA and started a decorative concrete company. I love the outdoors, dogs, the outdoors, starting new businesses, running, and making money.

School Story

I was about studying, studying studying. I was involved in out-of-school organizations such as Jr. Achievement, writing for the Mountain Shadows, participating in running events, local politics, working, reading, outoors, and hanging out with Rick Byers, Tim Banwart, Mark Frauenfeld, Craig Carmichael, Jim Justice, Andrew Sharmat, Abbot Pongyesva, and others.

I liked running, but I sucked until I reached my 40's. Late developer...

I was skinny, long-haired, shy kid who never went to a dance and never had a date. I worked on my hot rod and cared for my disabled brother. So, I basically missed the HS experience.

Like many of us, I hated HS. I was not into the cliques, the social scene, the snobbery, etc. I was an old soul in a young body.

Would I go back knowing what I know now?
